One of the designers of Blomus is Adam Miller. Adam Miller is familiar with all kinds of different designs. He is trained in both architecture and furniture design and takes on all kinds of projects, in both architecture and interior design, as well as making sculptures, lighting and household items.
This great designer has travelled the world, from the United States, Denmark to Italy. His time in Italy developed his appreciation for storytelling in the design of his products. The Abento tray, the Lungo glass series and the Lily Stage lamp are the first products this designer has made for Blomus and thus Majorr.
Abento Tray
The Abento tray is inspired by the clean lines of Japanese woodworking. The two legs cross the body of the tray to create three sections. The simple and functional Abento tray takes its name from the traditional Asian bento box – a single-portion takeaway or self-packed meal common in Japanese, Taiwanese and Korean cuisine.
The simple and sculptural tray is available in two sizes and is easy to use every day. The tray can be used for serving, but it can also serve perfectly as a decorative piece. The wooden box-like construction makes the tray ideal for use in the kitchen, but also in the bathroom, spa, office or wherever you need the tray to present your favorite objects.
Lily Stage Lamp
This beautiful and practical lamp is inspired by vertical sculptures and the classic microphone stand. Adam Miller creates a new, reduced to the essentials, range of lamps.
The range includes a desk lamp and a standing lamp, available in three different colours. Despite their delicate appearance, the LED lamps stand firmly on their base. The lamp has three preset brightness levels with an additional dimmer function and can therefore be used for both concentrated work and atmospheric background lighting. The lamp is easy to turn for direct and indirect lighting and is therefore ideal for use by everyone in the house!
